He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1,4

Back to School

Well, the kids and I were back to school on August 31st. Ashley and Kristen are in 1st grade and Nathaniel is in 4th. They are going to Amsterdam school this year- it is a public school; however it is a very small country school and most families and teachers consider themselves "Christians" so it has the feel of a small private school. So far everything is going well and the kids seem to be adjusting just fine. The entire school K-6 only has 130 kids- so you get the idea of how small it is. Ashley and Kristen only have 12 in their class!
Craig took them to school on their first day- since I had an 8 am class. He has been excellent at helping them get on the bus each day- since I leave for class about 7:15 - 3 or more mornings each week. After they eat breakfast He prays with them and sometimes even squeezes in a short devotion lesson. What a great Dad!

I am hard at work again at MSU- this semester I'm taking Anatomy & Physiology II, Biochemestry, and Nursing Ethics. I'm real excited for next semester since I will be starting patient care!

God is helping us with our crazy schedule again- and we are so thankful- we couldn't do any of it with out Him!!

Tamika & Rhett's Wedding

This past weekend my Mom and I took Ashley and Kristen to Tamika and Rhett's wedding in Billings. It was the girl's first time attending a church wedding and they absolutely loved it! Tamika was a beautiful princess and everything went well!

Kids' Camp 2009

A few weeks back I took the Kids to our church Kids' Camp. It was a 2 night/2day camp just for kids and we all (including me as a helper) had a fantastic time! We played many outdoor games, had a water fight, made smores around the bonfire, made many new friends and of course had a great time worshiping God.

Camping Trip

We were blessed to purchase a camper recently and we finally got to try it out 2 weekends ago. We went to Hebgen lake near West Yellowstone and we all had a fabulous time! We took our little raft boat out on the lake, swam, made many camp fires, roasted marshmellows, ate smores and a lot more! The kids had a blast as you can see from the photos! Hopefully we'll have many more camping trips to come!

4th of July Celebrations

This year we had our annual 4th of July BBQ at our house again- since we were home this year for the 4th. We had yummy hamburgers, hotdogs, homemade potato salad, Japanese salad, watermelon and all your typical yummy American picnic type food! The kids played in the pool and it was a beautiful, hot, summer day! Later in the early evening we took our kids to their cousins house outside of Threeforks, Mt and set off the fireworks that we had purchased. All the kids had a blast setting them off.

11 Wonderful Years!

Craig and I just celebrated our 11th Wedding anniversary on June 27th. We went to Helena, Mt for a night and had a fantastic time. Helena is the capital of Montana and it has a lot of history to explore. We stayed in the beautiful Red Lion Colonial Inn and ate dinner at a fabulous restaurant called "On Broadway". We were thankful to be able to get away for a night and are so thankful that God gave us each other!

Family Camp 2009

Family Church Camp 2009

Well, this summer's Family Church Camp this past week was the best yet for our kids! All three of them received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues! On Tuesday morning in the children's Sunday School Class - Kristen recieved it first and while she was still speaking in a heavenly language ~ Ashley started speaking in other tongues and received the Holy Ghost minutes later. Ashley had a grip on Kristen's braid and it was a huge, sweet blessing to see them both receive God's Spirit together.
In Wednesday night's service there was a powerful move of God and Nathan received the gift of the Holy Ghost and also spoke in another language. He was overjoyed and could not contain his happiness and excitement!

What an enormous blessing to have all three of our children receive the Holy Ghost within 2 days of each other! Thank you Jesus! Our God certainly is awesome!

Oklahoma

In May I went with my Mom to visit my grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Oklahoma. We had a good trip and it was great to see my Mom's side of the family again! Here are a few pictures from our short trip.

Kindergarten Graduation !!

Ashley and Kristen had their Kindergarten Graduation the last week in May. They are excited to be in 1st Grade next year ~ but will miss Mrs. Kimm tremendously! They really enjoyed Kindergarten and are great students! We are so proud of them both!
Craig was blessed to be able to go on their last field trip with them to the fish hatchery, the children's museum and the park their last week in Kindergarten.

Nathan's last week of 3rd Grade!

Nathan's class went on a field trip to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center at West Yellowstone their last week of 3rd Grade. I was happy to be able to attend with him and we both had a very fun, memorable time! We had lunch at the park and although the weather was chilly ~ we had a great time!
