He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1,4

Fun in the Snow

The kids had a blast today when Craig went outside and played with them in the snow! They built a small fort, had a snowball fight, and made a snowman! A fun Daddy is truly a gift from God! They all agree! :)

An Early Chrismas Celebration

Since Nonna and Grandpaul were here for 8 days around Thanksgiving we celebrated Christmas early with them- since they won't make it back for Christmas. We had a fun time- celebrating early!

P.S. Sorry about all these new posts at once! - I have been busy with school and now studying for finals! Pray for me when you think of it! Praise God I get about a month break between semesters! I am soooooo looking forward to it!

Tree Hunting

Two days after Thanksgiving we went up to Little Bear Canyon to cut our Christmas Tree. The particular mountain we choose was pretty steep and we had fun pushing and pulling the kids up the hill- since their boots seemed to slip in the snow! After hunting around about 1 1/2 miles up the mountain we finally found a suitable tree and cut it down. The trip down the hill was a blast! The kids slid down on their bottoms most of the way- and although Mom wasn't trying to, she did as well! We had a snowball fight too! What a wonderful day it was! After coming home- we met Nonna and Grandpaul for dinner and came back home to decorate the tree. It was a very memorable, fun day!

Hunting 2008

Nathaniel had a blast this year going deer hunting with his Dad and Papa. Craig got 3 deer this season and Papa was successful also! Hunting has become one of Nathan's favorite activities and he can't wait until he turns 12 so he can also become a hunter.

So much to be Thankful For!!

We have so much to be Thankful for! God has blessed our family greatly! His, love, mercy, daily provisions, protection, good health, family, friends are just a few of a very long list! ;)

This year we were blessed to have Nonna and Grandpaul with us for Thanksgiving so we got to have both sets of Grandparents with us! We went to Monga and Papa's for dinner and what a spread we had! We even got in a few games of pool and fooseball afterwards!

Unfortunately the only pictures that turned out for Thanksgiving are of Ashley, Grandpaul and the beautiful table.

Happy Brithday- Craig!!

Craig is now another year older and as handsome and fantastic as ever!! :)

We celebrated his birthday with a wonderful dinner at my parents house- a pork roast dinner1 Mmmmm :) it was fabulous! Tonight we are having a steak dinner to celebrate his actual birthday! Hope he enjoys it!:)

What a Hectic Day!

About 2 minutes before I went into my Statistics class on Wednesday, Oct. 8th, I got a call from the school and they said that Ashley had fallen off of the monkey bars. She was crying and they weren't sure if she had broken her arm. I went and picked her up and she seemed fine, with no swelling - We later went to pick Nathan and Kristen up from school and then to the Dentist to get Nathan some x-rays. Well, since Nathan had 2 of the same, adult teeth- they needed to pull one. I wasn't expecting that at the time- but the Dr. wanted to do it then. So we waited. I moved Ashley's arm and she immediately started crying- so I thought okay we are taking you in. She was a trooper and waited pretty patiently in the Dentist's office and with guaze in his mouth Nathaniel came with us to get Ashley's arm x-rayed. It was broken- a buckle fracture. Thank God- for his strength and help! It was a trying day to say the least.!! We arrived at home about 7 pm and we were all ready for Bed!!! Thank God for his strength!

Kristen was an excellent Dr. to both Ashley and Nathan! As you can see the photos are a few days after the fact! :)

Wow- what a short Fall!

Well, I was hoping for a nice long Fall season- since that is my favorite time of year but God had different plans. At least for Montana! As you can see Fall was beautiful- and about 2 weeks later Winter was upon us. We hope to have some more nice days between now and the real winter season - but I guess we'll just wait and see!

What a Catch to end the season with!!!

Nathaniel had fun fishing with Craig and his Papa this summer on Papa's boat. Today was probably the last time fishing for the season. Who knows there may be more warm days but Fall is definitely in the air. Anyway to finish the season Nathaniel caught a 19 inch Rainbow Trout! What a catch! He was happy with his catch and we were all happy for him! By the way his fish made a great dinner! Thanks, Nathaniel! ;)

P.S. Victory Celebration

Victory celebration!!

In celebration of Craig securing a new job~ we went to our state's capital city~ Helena, Mt for a quick celebration trip. We are so thankful for the wonderful job God has given Craig and know that He will continue to bless our family as we strive to please Him in all we do!

We spent the night at the Best Western Great Northern hotel in Helena on Friday night and had a great time celebrating with a pizza party and fun play time in their pool` We had it all to ourselves which is always a bonus! On Saturday we went to the carousel and the kids all had a blast riding it many times over. The ice-cream was fabulous and Nathaniel got the golden ring 3 times in a row- which got him 3 free rides! :) He was ecstatic to say the least!

Later we went and toured our states capital building and had a leisurely drive home.

Praise God for the job and Huge Victory!

School is Cool!

Today the kids all started school. Ashley and Kristen were off to kindergarden and Nathaniel to 3rd grade. They were all excited and the girls wished they had school everyday like Nathan~ instead of 3 full days a week. I'm sure once they get rolling they will be thankful for the 2 rest days in between. :) Lordwilling this will be a fantastic school year- for Mommy too~ as she starts the pre-nursing program at MSU full-time. Your prayers for all of us would be greatly appreciated. ;)

Summer picnic

We recently had our church summer picnic. The food was fantastic, the fellowship out of this world and the weather perfect! The kids had a blast playing in the water and I think Sis. Jackie had just as much fun- if not more!
