He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1,4

Preschool Graduation

Ashley and Kristen had their last day of preschool this week! Last night in the car Ashely asked me, "Mom, do we get to go to Kindergarten in the morning?" They are both anxious to start Kindergarten and don't quite understand that they have to wait until the summer is over first! Both girls loved preschool and their teacher, Mrs. Quick. After the mini end of the year program, Kristen hugged her a long time and seemed sad to leave. It was a bitter sweet day.

Down By The Creek

Nathaniel had his Spring Concert at school and the theme was "Down by the Creek Bank". All of the kids dressed in "camping clothes" and they sang a huge variety of fun down by the creek type songs. One of the girls favorite songs was called "Germs, Germs" and it talked about a child's invisible dog. It was a very fun night and PaPa treated us to Dairy Queen after the program. We feel very blessed to live by at least one set of grandparents!

How Time Flies-- Ashley & Kristen are 5

Wow! Where did the time go? We can't believe that Ashley and Kristen are already 5 and will soon be heading off to Kindergarten! The first two years of having twins was rough- but we wouldn't have traded them for anything! Ashley is such a joy and so independent! Her loving, spunky, fun personality is terrific and she is becoming such a young lady! Kristen is also a great joy and her sweet, giving, tender-hearted personality adds much to our family! Both of our girls are so much fun and we are proud of them. It is a sweet, saddness that we think of their coming first day of kindergarten. However, they are so excited and would start today if possible. Happy Birthday- Ashley (born May 1st) and Happy Birthday- Kristen (born May 2nd) ! We love you both! We hope you enjoy seeing the photos of just how much they have grown!

Easter 2008

This year we dyed our eggs on Friday and went on a fun, but cold, "egg hunt" in Lindley Park on Saturday. Mommy hid the eggs all over the park and the kids had a blast hunting for them. One egg became the "Mystery Egg", because Mommy forgot where she hid it and it took a long time to find. Nathaniel finally found the mystery egg. After the egg hunt we went to a fun pizzeria called "Columbo's" and had dinner. Sunday was great! The kids performed with the "God rods" (acting out a song with long sticks) and did sign language for their Easter program at church. They all did great! After church we all went to Monga and Papa's for dinner and opened the Easter baskets and hunted more eggs. It was a wonderful day!

Nathaniel is 8- already?!!!

Nathaniel celebrated his eigth birthday on March 11. It is so hard to believe that he is already 8- soon he will be asking for the keys! No-not really! Nathaniel is such a joy and has a sweet, spirit and fun personality. He never meets a stranger and will talk to anyone about the Lord- what a great quality to have! He loves to read, do art projects, hunt, fish, collect rocks, hike, ski and play baseball. It has been so much fun watching him learn, grow and mature just this past year. He was baptized in Jesus name on his birthday last year and we know he will get the Holy Ghost soon! We are so proud of him and love being his parents!
This year Nathaniel invited 4 friends from his class to his party and ordered "Mud Pie" as the dessert. He had a jungle themed party and Mom put a chewy suprise inside the "Mud Pie"!
